Hand-knotted in all-natural dyed, hand-spun wool, this rug is one of a kind. Next, it spent three to six months in the sun, where natural sunlight slowly drew out its original colors. It was then overdyed in blue and hand-washed, leaving bold, chromatic tones that give a traditional design a completely new, modern life. The dye takes a little differently from knot to knot, which is what gives the color its fine streaks and depth instead of a flat, printed look. You may notice lighter and deeper areas of blue across the surface.
