Bring whimsical, Hollywood Regency flair to your table or display hutch with this vintage Italian majolica tureen and matching cover. Expertly hand-painted in vibrant shades of green and yellow, this sculptural piece is designed in a naturalistic trompe l'œil style resembling a squash or melon wrapped in creeping vines and foliage. A twisted vine stem extends outward to create an integrated side handle, adding an organic, artisanal touch to the design.
This collectible ceramic piece was handcrafted in Italy and imported by the prominent mid-century New York design firm Meiselman Imports. This is a pre-owned item so please see all pictures and ask any questions.
