The tapestry has a rectangular shape, a textured green border and wooden hanging rods finished with rounded ball details, allowing it to be easily mounted on the wall. Its colour palette and decorative texture make it a lovely addition to vintage, retro and Scandinavian interiors, as well as spaces furnished with mid-century modern pieces. It would look particularly good above a sideboard or sofa, offering an interesting alternative to traditional wall art.

Hanhisalon Kutomo Oy was a Finnish textile company based in Alajärvi, founded in 1977 and commencing operations in 1978. The company specialised in home textiles, producing wall hangings, tapestries, decorative fabrics and linen textiles. Its products represent an interesting example of Finnish textile design from the second half of the 20th century. See less
