The reflective lenses reveal an intense coastal sunset, radiating warm shades of amber, coral, and vivid magenta across rolling clouds. Rendered with fine linework across the bone surfaces, the graphic combines classical memento mori imagery with vibrant contemporary pop culture. Constructed as a modern illuminated lightbox, the artwork is printed directly onto Perspex acrylic and set within a substantial square black wooden box frame. When switched on, internal lighting diffuses through the acrylic surface, highlighting the skull structure and bringing a striking neon glow to the sunset reflections in the lenses. Produced in the 21st century, this piece is numbered 28 from a published edition of 95, alongside 10 artist proofs issued by DeMontfort Fine Art. It is accompanied by the original publisher's certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. The unit operates via an internal 12-volt LED driver connected to a braided black fabric flex and a standard UK three-pin plug. The overall box frame measures 80 cm square with a depth of 7 cm, creating a commanding wall-mounted presence. The artwork is reported to be in full working order, with clean frame edges and an intact Perspex front display face. See less
