The Oushak tradition of western Anatolia, with its airy layouts and big blossoms, is one of the main influences on Ziegler design. Its tan field paired with a blue border gives it a rich and traditional character. It is hand knotted in Pakistan with the Turkish double knot, using hand-spun wool with a long staple and high lanolin content. Stone-washing and sun-drying soften the pile and give it a natural sheen and a softly aged, antique look.
