It is an eclectic modern 4x6 area rug in gray and blue.

Hand knotted and one of a kind, this handmade wool rug is made from a blend of hand-spun local wool and fine merino wool, colored with natural vegetable dyes extracted from local plants. Look closely and you will see an abrash, a gentle shift in shade within a single color. It comes from hand-spun wool taking natural dye slightly differently from batch to batch, and it is a hallmark of a true handmade rug. The pile is trimmed to a moderate thickness, then stone-washed and sun-dried for a natural sheen and a soft feel underfoot.

It is a good fit for an entryway, a bedroom, a kitchen, or a spot in front of a favorite chair. The calm gray and blue tones, with touches of rust and gold, work in Scandinavian and modern farmhouse rooms, and give a quiet-luxury feel under neutral upholstery. The medallion repeat suits transitional, glam, and global-inspired rooms.
