Measuring 5'4'' x 8'1'', it is a 5x8 hand knotted Ziegler rug.

Peshawar and Chobi rugs are woven in the Ziegler style, with hand-spun wool and a sun-washed finish that gives an antique look. Here the black ground and red frame create a bold and flowing balance. Skilled artisans in Pakistan hand knot it with the Turkish double knot from a blend of hand-spun local and merino wool, rich in lanolin. The pile is stone-washed and sun-dried, giving it a soft sheen, a subtle abrash and an antique look.

It is a great choice for a guest room, a reading corner, a nursery or a sitting area. Its bold, flowing design suits traditional, transitional and eclectic rooms and makes a confident statement.
