The tall, rounded vessel features a narrow neck with raised decorative bands and a softly aged cream-colored glaze accented by dark hand-painted markings and simple linear motifs. Generations of use have created a beautifully weathered surface with areas of staining, glaze wear, and natural variation that give the jar its authentic character.

Originally used for storing and transporting wine or other liquids, this antique vessel makes a striking decorative object today. Its substantial scale works beautifully displayed on a console, pedestal, cabinet, or grouped with other antique pottery. The neutral palette, primitive decoration, and time-worn surface bring texture and history to Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, or contemporary interiors.
