The long, narrow plank seat is supported by splayed trestle-style legs with shaped brackets beneath each end, giving the simple form a subtle architectural quality. Generations of use have softened the elm to a warm, naturally weathered finish with visible grain, worn edges, old markings, and an authentic aged patina.

Its narrow profile makes this bench particularly versatile for an entryway or hallway, beneath a window, alongside a dining table, or as a decorative accent for displaying pottery and collected objects. The combination of rustic elm, simple construction, and sculptural trestle legs works beautifully in Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, mountain modern, boho chic, or contemporary interiors.
