Gorgeous, French provincial Louis XVI style painted loveseat with two armchairs set from Provence, France. The set features a hand-molded frame with an oval-shaped medallion back finished in a light creamy antique white lacquer with a naturally aged crackle patina with green paint remnants. The chairs and loveseat come with their original striped green and yellow velvet fabric, clean-finished with tack nailhead trim. The seats are supported by elegant tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet typical for Louis XVI chairs. The front legs are also decorated with carved rosettes on the corners. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a classic French silhouette and beautiful color combination.
