Recalling the Brutalist, this hand-knotted wool contemporary Moroccan rug is an amalgam of International style and the very definition of celebrated and spirited high end Brutalist art. Asymmetrical shapes create an all-over geometric design against a sandy-beige backdrop. Architecture-like forms and rectilinear design elements further ornament the carpet field. With its striking play of pattern and esoteric style, this Moroccan area rug is a rebellious object d'art defying traditional, symmetrical, and frivolous ornament in true Brutalist fashion. From cabin homes and Adirondack design to mountain houses and Alpine lodges, Moroccan area rugs are making their way into our hearts and homes. Abrash. Hand-knotted wool. Made in Pakistan. Measures: 08'02 x 09'07. See less
