Vintage Neoclassical Faux-Stone Dolphin Pedestal Table with Glass Top
Vintage table featuring a shaped glass top supported by two sculptural dolphin-form pedestals. Each substantial base displays four stylized classical dolphins arranged back-to-back, with curling bodies, raised tails and expressive heads emerging from a wave-form platform.
The bases have a distressed ivory and beige faux-stone finish that evokes aged architectural sculpture. The fanciful dolphin motif draws inspiration from Italian Neoclassical, Renaissance Revival and Hollywood Regency.
