1990 Abstract composition featuring winged figures in primary colors against a light blue background.
Lars Larsen (Danish, b. 1942). Mixed media on unframed canvas.
Lars Larsen is an abstract and surrealist artist based in Odense, Denmark. A self-proclaimed quality-conscious extrovert, Larsen prides himself in creating unique, one-of-a-kind paintings. His late 20th-century works are tied together by the use of lively patterns and bold color palettes. Geometric shapes fill each dynamic composition with abstracted subjects ranging from figurative and zoomorphic to demonic.
