Wallpaper mural depicting the Bosphorus Straits is framed in gilt wood frame and mounted on foam board. This wallpaper panel was digitally reproduced from an original painting created in Iksel Decorative Arts studio after a lithograph printed in the 1850s by the Maltese painter Jean-Giovanni Schranz. The rendition was altered from the original to make a full “verdure” out of it, omitting characters and simplified buildings. The result is a much greener and sparser Bosphorus than that of the time, the stunning nature and topography are very much present. Image comes ready to hang.
