These are some of the most beautiful and unique headboards we have ever had. They are either Spanish or Portuguese. The headboards are solid carved wood. The posts are a turned barley twist. Then there are turned central spindles with small urns dropping down. The top is heavy hand forged iron. The overall look is stunning. These are quite heavy. I cannot find anything exactly like them but they are at least 100 years old or more. These can go in any traditional home.
Condition: There is some wear to the wood but it is 100% structurally solid. Wear to the metal. They had bed lamps clipped to the metal. Again solid with wear. Wear on these just makes them look more antique.
