The making of this jar is considered a "foot stomp process" (which has to do with the hands-on approach to developing the porcelain). The porcelain is hand painted in fantastic indigo / ink blue against a bone off white ground, which all contributes to the jar's "Rough Hewen" look! The base of the lamp is a beautiful wood stand and the hardware of the lamp is in a brass finish. The shade is created by "Stray Dog Designs" and is in a beautiful ink blue with scallops across the bottom and a gold piping. The shade is about: 9hx10x16. This would looks amazing with your other blue and white pottery /ceramics providing light on your subject! We turned out favorite jar into a gorgeous lamp! We can sell in a pair, but need to have second one made to match, so would take time, if interested please make comment request! Beautiful!

The dimensions to the top of the lamp shade is 22.5 and the lamp shade is 16 inches wide. The jar width is 9 inches and the base is about 9 to 10 inches. The height to the socket is 17 inches See less
