This set of plates are circa 1970's and produced by Meiselman Imports and were sold in fine stores across the US. They are each hand painted with a floral and leaf relief around the borders of the plates and each has a hand painted posy or small bouquet in the center. The dishes have a small well and have a charming fan shaped scalloped edge arround each lip. They are in beautiful green, dark lavender, deep raspberry pink against a creamy off white ground. They are very good to excellent vintage condition. One plate has a small flecked divot that has been touched up. This is a set of 7 and is perfect for a light luncheon / picnic patio entertaining.
