English Accent Antiques is a respected source for antiques based in Atlanta, Georgia. Distinctive English and European antiques, known for a collection that combines quality, character and personality.

Founded by Anne Stovall in 1989, the gallery grew from her love of collecting and a genuine passion for objects that make an interior feel individual. Today, the shop offers an ever-changing mix of furniture, fine art, mirrors, lighting and decorative objects spanning the 18th century to Mid-Century Modern, with a particular affection for dogs and animal subjects.

Anne’s buying philosophy is simple: she chooses pieces she would be happy to live with herself. That personal approach gives the collection its distinctive character and remarkable range—spanning English, French, Italian, and Biedermeier designs and elegant period furniture all the way to mid-century design, while also highlighting sporting paintings, animal sculpture, and the occasional wonderfully eccentric object.

The result is an inventory equally at home in formal or rustic settings. A piece from English Accent might find its place in an elegant city interior, a country house, a rustic barndominium or even a castle. What connects the collection is not a single period or style, but Anne’s eye for pieces with presence, individuality and the ability to give a room character.

Over the years, English Accent Antiques has become a trusted resource for designers, collectors and clients looking for something beyond the predictable. The collection is carefully chosen but never overly formal—antiques and vintage pieces intended to be lived with, mixed freely and enjoyed.

English Accent Antiques is located in a three-story space at the Galleries of Peachtree Hills in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta. The building is served by an elevator, making all three floors easily accessible.
The collection is continually refreshed with new finds. We invite designers, collectors and anyone who simply loves beautiful and unusual objects to visit the shop in person or explore the collection online.
