With an MFA from CCAC and lucky enough to have a discerning eye for amazing design and quality vintage furnishings. Always having a love for the arts, it wasn’t until I was diagnosed with cancer, the first time, that I had the time to do anything about it. Unable to work a 9-5 and juggling dr appointments and chemo every week didn’t leave me with very many options to generate income. I looked around my apartment and realized that the majority of my furnishings were either made by me or, reupholstered, rebuilt or reimagined vintage items. I realized that I was able to do that from home and at a pace that would work around everything else I had going on. That was 2021. By 2023 I was in remission and was starting to sell off the growing inventory. In 2025 I was diagnosed with a completely different type of cancer that is chemo resistant and can only be removed by surgery. With 1 surgery down and Scans every 4 months to see where it’s growing at that point, more surgeries are likely very soon. So, with slightly less mobility than before, I have been finding fabulous designs both modern and vintage that have needed a little love and these items I’ve brought to Chairish and the design community!
